The drink mix freezes perfectly inside a specialized cylinder featuring a clear, see-through face. When your guests are ready, simply pull the front lever to dispense perfectly smooth margaritas, daiquiris, or kid-friendly slushies. As drinks are dispensed, additional mix is automatically drawn from the top-mounted reservoir into the cylinder for continuous freezing.

Crucial setup tips for a flawless party

Start Very Early: Do not wait until the last minute. Start up and mix your product early to become familiar with the machine’s operation.
Keep It Upright: NEVER transport this machine on its side or back!! It must remain completely upright at all times to prevent severe internal mechanical damage.
Pre-Chill Your Ingredients: Before your party starts, refrigerate your mix, water, and alcohol. Using chilled liquids ensures a dramatically faster freeze time .
Always Run Indoors: Use the machine in an air-conditioned room. Placing the machine outside in the hot Georgia sun or direct sunlight will drastically slow down the freeze time. For outdoor parties, keep the machine cool indoors and carry the frozen drinks out in pitchers.
Avoid Extension Cords: We strongly recommend plugging the machine directly into a dedicated 20-amp circuit without an extension cord. If you absolutely must use one, you must use a short, 25-foot heavy-duty gauge cord. Light-duty or long cords cause a drop in voltage that will prevent the machine from freezing.
Stairway Restrictions: Due to the 95 lb weight of these commercial units, our delivery drivers cannot haul them up flights of stairs. Your venue must have elevator access if the machine is going above the ground floor.

Helpful Tips

-Start the machine very early. Do not wait right before your event. Start up and mix the product to become familiar with the machine.

-NEVER NEVER transport a machine on the side or back, it must be upright at all times!! We would hate for you to purchase us a new machine!!

-Before your party, refrigerate the materials (water, alcohol, mix). This will ensure a FASTER freeze time.

-Use the machine in an air-conditioned room. If you put the machine outside in the sun, it will dramatically increase the freeze time. Bring out the chilled drinks in pitchers.

-Do not use extension cords. If you must, use a 25' HEAVY-DUTY gauge cord. Long or light duty cords will not work. Try to plug machine directly into a 20 amp dedicated circuit without an extension cord if possible.

-When we deliver the rental machines, the bigger ones can not go up a flight of stairs. There must be an elevator, they are too heavy.

Q. Do I need to buy ice for the machine?
A. No. The machine freezes the liquid itself. It will produce the perfect slush consistency automatically if you follow the instructions on our product label.

Q. What type of table do I need to hold the machine?
A. You need a very sturdy, heavy-duty table or counter. These machines weigh nearly 100 pounds empty (and more when full of liquid). Note: For our massive double-unit Frosty Factory rentals, we provide a dedicated rolling cart where the machine must remain, as it weighs nearly 200 pounds.

Q. Do I need to clean the machine before returning it?
A. We just recommend that you pour fresh water into the reservoir and rinse the system out before our team picks it up.

Q. Do you supply the alcohol for margaritas or cocktails?
A. Sorry, we do not supply or sell alcohol.

Q. Can we use our own store-bought drink mix when renting your machines?
A. No. We require that you exclusively use our specialty mixes. Our gourmet mixes are engineered specifically for our commercial freezing cylinders. Other store-bought brands can freeze completely solid, causing severe physical damage to the machine blades and motor.

Q. How long does the drink mix take to freeze?
A. If kept inside an air-conditioned room, the high-performance Frosty Factory machine takes only about 30 minutes to freeze! Please note that adding alcohol to the mix naturally slows down the freezing process.

Q. My venue's breaker keeps tripping or losing power when the machine runs. Why?
A. Our frozen drink machines require a dedicated 20-amp, 120-volt circuit . No other appliances, lights, or DJ gear should share the same outlet or the same circuit breaker. Be aware that GFI outlets can sometimes cause a power shortage, requiring you to move the machine to a different circuit. If you are renting two machines, they must be plugged into entirely different breakers.

Q. Can I run the frozen drink machine off a portable generator?
A. No. Portable generators spike and dip in voltage, which can permanently ruin the commercial compressor and digital components inside the machine.
