Sizing, Compatibility & Layout Calculations

Our sidewalls are engineered to fit snugly along our standard perimeter frames, but structural restrictions apply based on tent height:

Modular Dimensions: Each individual sidewall section measures 7 feet tall by 20 feet long .
Tent Compatibility: These 7-foot walls fit all of our standard pole tents and frame tents , with the strict exception of our massive 60' wide commercial structures (60' x 60', 60' x 90', and 60' x 120' models), which utilize taller perimeter support tracks.
How to Calculate Your Order: To figure out exactly how many 20-foot sidewall sections you need, simply measure the total perimeter footage of the tent area you want to cover and divide that total number by 20 .

Sizing Reference Examples:

10' x 10' Frame Tent: Total perimeter is 40 feet. Needs 2 sidewalls to completely enclose it.
20' x 20' Event Tent: Total perimeter is 80 feet. Needs 4 sidewalls to completely enclose it.
20' x 30' Grand Tent: Total perimeter is 100 feet. Needs 5 sidewalls to completely enclose it.
20' x 40' Ultimate Tent: Total perimeter is 120 feet. Needs 6 sidewalls to completely enclose it.

Adding fabric walls completely changes the micro-climate inside your canvas shelter. Please review our mandatory weather advice to maximize guest comfort:

Summer Weather Warning (Heat Trap): We strongly advise against completely enclosing your tent during the hot summer months. Fabric walls trap humidity and solar radiation exactly like a parked car with the windows rolled up. For summer events, we recommend installing only 1 or 2 sidewalls at most to block out unsightly views or direct sun glare while preserving cross-ventilation.
Cold Weather Insulation: During chilly autumn weddings or winter corporate gatherings, completely enclosing the tent works beautifully. The vinyl walls trap ambient energy to provide a significantly warmer, wind-free environment for your guests.

High Wind & Structural Safety Notice

While our heavy-duty tents are designed to handle rougher outdoor elements, all canopies are temporary fabric structures:

Wind Resistance: Installing sidewalls turns your tent into a massive sail. High winds push against the walls, creating extreme lateral stress that can degrade the mechanical integrity of the framework.
Safety Policy: In the event of severe, high-velocity storm winds or compromised ground substrate conditions (such as oversaturated, muddy soil), our installation team or venue coordinators may mandate that the sidewalls be dropped or completely detached to ensure absolute guest safety.
